WHY & HOW WE PUBLISH
Editorial Standards
A good travel guide should help you make a decision, explain its limits and show where the facts came from.
Sources before certainty
We use official tourism organizations, transport operators, attraction websites and manufacturer information for factual details. Sources appear in each guide with a check date. Published specifications are not a substitute for hands-on testing, and we make that distinction explicit.
Travel conditions and product details can change after publication. We avoid unsupported fixed prices and direct readers to check current terms before spending. Planning suggestions are editorial judgments, not guarantees.
Realistic scenarios
Articles start with everyday situations: carrying luggage up stairs, arriving late, finding room for a child's nap or choosing shoes for a long walking day. We compare the useful benefits, inconveniences and costs of different approaches. A recommendation should name who it suits and who may be better served by another option.
No invented experience
We do not fabricate personal travel history, hands-on tests, customer review counts, discounts, certifications or partnerships. Research-based articles are published under Earthly Excursions Editorial. A future first-person report will explain the real basis of that experience.
Photographs and identity
Licensed scene photographs illustrate a destination or travel situation; they do not imply that our team visited the location or tested pictured equipment. We do not reuse another publication's logo, identity or biography. Our image sourcing records are retained with the project.
Commercial transparency
Current shopping links are direct, untracked references. If we introduce commissions, sponsorship or gifted items, the relevant relationship will be disclosed close to the coverage. A payment cannot buy a favorable verdict. See the Affiliate Disclosure.
Dates and corrections
Publication dates identify the editorial release schedule. A separate source-check date identifies when official resources were checked; it does not imply research took place before that date. When a material detail changes, we review the guide and record a new update date.
To request a correction, email [email protected] with the URL and an official supporting source. We review evidence and correct material errors without disguising a commercial interest.
